Dr. Dayana Hayek (currently on parental leave)
Dayana brings a strong foundation in biology and cognitive neuroscience to her work. She excels in problem-solving across diverse challenges and specializes in the analysis of MR data.

Dr. Anna E. Fromm
Anna is a psychologist with expertise in advanced statistical and multimodal MR analyses. She employes a wide range of tools, contributing innovative solutions to the lab.

Dr. Yong Jiang
Yong works in the field of neuroscience with a focus on non-invasive brain stimulation, including tDCS, tACS, TMS, and TI. His research integrates neuroscience and biomechanics to investigate cognitive–motor interactions and cognitive decline.
PhD students

Sarah Abdou
Sarah is a PhD student with a background in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience. Their research focuses on neuromodulation across the adult lifespan, with a particular interest in how individual brain characteristics shape responses to tDCS and how this changes as brains age. They bring hands-on experience in EEG and tDCS from research positions in Beirut and Tübingen.

Samaneh Aziziaram (co-supervision with Flöel Lab)
Samaneh is a psychologist with a strong background in clinical psychology and neuromodulation. Her research focuses on cognitive functions and the application of novel brain stimulation techniques, including temporal interference stimulation.

Catalina Trujillo-Llano (co-supervision with Flöel Lab)
Catalina is a DAAD PhD Fellow with a background in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience. Her research focuses on studying cognitive functions in healthy aging and clinical populations, using data analysis, neuroimaging, and neuromodulation techniques.

Collaborators
Axel Thielscher
Axel is an electrical engineer who develops the SimNIBS software. We are pursuing our collaboration to improve the understanding of non-invasive brain stimulation effects.
Ulrike Grittner
Ulrike is a biostatistician and I am lucky to work with her in almost all of my projects.
Agnes Flöel
Agnes is the Chair of the Department of Neurology at the University Medicine Greifswald and the Head of the Cognitive Neurology Lab. We have a very fruitful long-term collaboration with ancillary scientific interests.
Robert Malinowski
Robert is a resourcefull physicist who designs, builds, programs, and maintains custom tools and systems. As the Lab Manager of the Cognitive Neurology Lab, he also provides valuable support to my lab.
